Personally, I think KDE is a far superior manager but you need to get used to Linux first.Currently there are two main Linux Mint editions, which is Linux Mint Light Edition and Main Edition. The only difference between Main and Light is that the Light does not include multimedia support and patented technologies - so, no playing MP3s, DVDs, viewing PDFs, etc. right out of the box - you’ll have to set that up yourself (in other words, go with the Main).My suggestion: version 5 Main Edition (the only released v5 thus far).
