Message: <blockquote data-quote="yosh371" data-source="post: 24931799" data-attributes="member: 329295">අද අපි එක්ව ඉතිහාසය අලුතෙන්ම නිර්මාණය කළ බව අතිශයෝක්තියක් නොවේ. 2019 නොවැම්බර් 16 වනදා, අතීතයේ අමිහිරි සිදුවීම අමතක කර අනාගතය වැළඳගන්නට එක්ව ගමන ආරම්භ කළ දිනය ලෙස මතකයේ රැදෙණු ඇත. අප ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් ලෙස බිය වෙනුවට බලාපොරොත්තුවත්, ගැටුමට වෙනුවට එකමුතුකමත්, කෝපය වෙනුවට සිනහවත් තෝරාගතිමු. වඩා හොඳ හෙටක් සඳහා අපගේ දැක්ම, ජනතාවගේ හදවත් දිනා ගත්තේය. මෙතැන් සිට, විශාල ජයග්‍රහණ සඳහා මාවත අප ඉදිරියේ විවෘතව පවතින අතර මෙය තවත් බොහෝ ජයග්‍රහණ ලගාකර ගැනීමට අවැසි අපගේ පළමු පියවර වනු ඇත. ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් අපේක්ෂා කරන උසස් තත්ත්වයකට ළඟා වන තුරු එම ගමන නතර නොවන බවට මම පොරොන්දු වෙමි. මට ඡන්දය දුන් අය පමණක් නොව, සියලු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන්ගේ ජනාධිපතිවරයා ලෙස ජනාධිපති වීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබීම ගැන මම කෘතඥ වෙමි. ඔබ මා කෙරෙහි ආයෝජනය කර ඇති විශ්වාසය මට හොඳින් දැනෙන අතර ඔබේ ජනාධිපති වීම මගේ ජීවිතයේ ලබන ලොකුම ගෞරවය වනු ඇත.අපගේ රට දීප්තිමත් අනාගතයක් කරා ගෙන යාම සඳහා අපට එකාවන්ව අවබෝධයෙන් කටයුතු කර සියලු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන්ට සැබවින්ම ප්‍රයෝජනවත් වන අනාගතයක් නිර්මාණය කරගමු. අපගේ දැක්ම ක්‍රියාත්මක කරවමු ! It’s no overstatement: today we made history together. 16th November 2019 will be remembered as the day when the wounds of the past were healed, and our nation moved forward to embrace the future. Sri Lankans chose hope over fear, unity over conflict, smile over anger. Our vision for a better tomorrow, won the hearts and the minds of the people. From now on, the path to great achievements lies open in front of us and this was our first step together with many other accomplishments to follow. I promise not to stop, until we reach the heights Sri Lankans aspire to. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the President, not only of those who voted for me but as the President of all Sri Lankans. The trust you have invested in me is deeply moving and being your president will be the greatest honor of my life. We have so much to realize together in order to set our country on the course to a brighter future – a future that will truly benefit all Sri Lankans.
