Now no ethnic conflict bcos I'm tamil but I'm in colombo. I feel more safe here than being in Trinco or Jaffna.When Sri Lanka got independance from British tamil leaders asked for a unitary state not a seperate state, but some sinhala leaders mis used it and did something which can stive the feelings of the Tamils. Till late 70's there were no arm conflict in Sri Lanka only ahimsa protests were hold. Then later on LTTE took the power by beating their opponets. Till sinhala people feel the problems of the tamil people there will be no solution in this country. bcos LTTE never win the war meanwhile Gov can't fully destroy LTTE..
