Message: <blockquote data-quote="sri_lion" data-source="post: 2321057" data-attributes="member: 4103">Indian intelligence agencies say the LTTE is getting raw materials for its explosive devices from two major Indian cities, the United Press of India (UPI) reported yesterday.A senior Intelligence Bureau official said the raw materials were mainly being obtained from the Information Technology city of Bangalore and the industrial city of Mumbai.India's enforcement agencies in Madurai recently seized a vital commercial consignment of chemicals, used in making explosives.The enforcement agencies said the consignment comprising 500 kilograms of a variety of chemicals including diphenylamine sulphates, chlorate salts and acids had been dispatched from Bangalore.It said the consignment which was meant for the LTTE was seized minutes before it was to be offloaded at a transit point."The seized chemicals can be altered to make explosives. The consignment marked commercial was to be handed over to some Indians and Sri Lankans who were assigned with the task of smuggling it to Sri Lanka.
