(but we may not be; so we should keep verifying ourselves against Dhamma; and never against 'meditation experiences' others claim to get )If we tend to loose Shraddha towards Buddha; Dhamma and Sangha the 'Path we are on' is probably false...Why?- first of sekha bala is Shraddha- first of pancha indriya & pancha bala is Shraddha- first three of Sothapaththi anga is Shraddha- Shraddha is the most valuable wealth (ref: Alawaka Sutta; pls. see <a href="http://www.elakiri.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100671" target="_blank">this thread</a> by pinwath Y2K)Unfortunately loss of Shraddha is a symptom seen in many people pursuing Dhamma <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/sad.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":(" title="Sad    :(" data-shortname=":(" />A person with Shraddha never belittles Dhamma... he/she will accept the mistake with humbleness; and correct (whenever any contradiction arises) his/her view according to Dhamma...We should always assess ourselves to ensure we are in the correct Path...True; one need not be a 'fan' of Mahamevnawa to follow the correct Path (Ideally one should be a Shrawaka of Sammasambuddha Gautama; and many associated with Mahamevnawa are like this... <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" /> )Moreover,  one should not look down upon other places... any place that teaches Dhamma without distortions (how to check? we have to develop an independent knowledge of Dhamma; from Tipitaka... if we do not want to risk being mislead...) equally worthy...Personally I feel Mahamevnawa to be one of the best places that discuss Dhamma without distortions; personal interpretations; in accordance with the orignal teachings... <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" />Theruwan saranai</blockquote>
