"I have functioned before as Executive Prime Minister in an Executive Cabinet and I hope to do so again," the opposition leader has told the weekly newspaper Sunday Leader in an interview. Responding to a query by the weekly, Wickremasinghe has said he stands to gain on three issues from the election of General Fonseka. "The first would be to establish democracy.
