The three-member bench chaired by Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranaike made the order as a Fundamental Rights (FR) petition filed by Maj. Gen. Pannipitiya was taken for hearing. Transfer to Colombo The petition was filed against SLA commander Lt. General Sarath Fonseka's decisions to remove the petitioner as the Eastern Commander and not to offer him an official residence in Colombo. Maj. Gen.
