A firecracker much like himself, the beautiful Natasha longs to break free from the small town, small mind existence of the Cove. For once Keith feels passion not for debauchery and destruction, but for something even more dangerous: love. After a rash move to St. John’s that ends in the botched mercy killing of their beloved kitty Puss-Cat (and soon fed-up with Keith’s self-adventures), Natasha leaves him to move to Halifax. Alone and as self-abusingly over-dramatic as always, Keith faces the reality he has spent his lifetime neglecting: that he alone is responsible for his own miserable lot in life.
