This is dedicated to Major M D Manjula Sarathchandra and all other defenders of freedom in the Sri Lanka armed forces who have made the supreme sacrifice in true faith to our Motherland fighting the murderous Tamil terrorists. Even at a young age while studying for his O/Levels at Royal College, Sri Lanka, Manjula wanted to join the Army after hearing about the cowardice acts committed by LTTE terorists against civilians. After leaving school, he joined the Sri Lankan army as an officer in the Commando division. His military training started at Sandhurst, England. On his return, he lead a number of missions against these murderous terrorists. He was then given a training post at Dilyathalawa military camp. Being the brave fighter he is, he requested to be sent back to the north to join the latest operation Jaya Sikuru. After leading a number of successful missions there, he made his supreme sacrifice in true faith to our Motherland. A TRUE COMMANDO "Fall to the ground, but he is not dead. His memory still lives in us, inspiring us to fight to the end."
