So it looks to me like there are no real local agents for Acer in SL. Most companies like Metropolitan, Softlogic etc. are not real Agents, they are just distributors. Call that number and ask. You should be able to ship it to them for repairs, but I guess you'll have to pay shipping charges.Same thing happen to me with Softlogic for a DELL notebook.  When I argued with them finally they admitted that they are not real agents of DELL, instead they are like local distributors/resellers. So they don’t have the authority to handle international warranty claims directly.</blockquote>
