This thread reflects the same thing I said. I find it highly unlikeable, after looking at some of buddha's basic teachings, that he would have encouraged eating meat in any way at all. That's simply not logical. But many people I know(buddhists) say that buddha said its ok. So when even buddhists say this, others will certainly say the same thing. Anyway my belief is that buddha said no such a thing.</blockquote>
