After all buddha is the person said "dont accept because I see,accept only if you can see" But when looking at buddha's life and things he has done( things written in books, maybe buddha did not actually did them) I feel strongly that he felt that giving an equal position to women in the society is not suitable. Y I say this, I have plenty of explaintions, examples which I would not bring up here, coz this thread is not the place. I have thought about this to a certain deapth. It is my understanding that 'nature' is a power that no one can ever go beyond. And it is the rule of nature that in humans, female is less stronger. Buddha being wise understood this and he never gave an equal position to women.Cant we just think that maybe nabhi, or whoever said that beating a women is ok(which I doubt he said in the first place) is just pointing at a fact that women are not supirior in this society and maybe people misinterpreted it to another meaning later?So machan when you point a finger, to someone dont think you are in a better place. As buddha said please follow 'madyama prathipada'. Dont go to a side before you think about something. Stay in the middle and think about it.Dont accuse a religion because poeple who follow the religion do wrong thigs. Buddhists do wrong things all the time, so does muslims, Hindus and otheres. If we can just grab what's correct and go one step closer to finding what is the truth that's it. what is your point of arguing this is not allah's miracle? How do you know?
