They protested against first private medical college NCMC which had even foreign students. Now they are against KDU which became a uni in sri lanka in 1988!! So why cant there be state private uni's when there are already NIBM, NSBM, SLIT. Recently I listened to JVP online lecture against KDU but their objections are baselessI saw their Phd parliamentarian Dr. Harini stating female students in KDU cannot get marry. KDU is a defence Uni . Nursing students also cannot get marry till the course is over, for a long time . So what ? No one forced any person to KDU as they went on their own accord. What is wrong in they offering courses to public if they have expertise such as Signal/human intelligence. These are taught in civilian unis abroad . Since we do not have expertise in traditional Unis these type of subjects can be taught to any interested person for a fee at KDU. JVP objects to any reform in education just to incite students and create trobles. That is what they did then and that is what they do now and their slogan is "our brand is cricis" (sandra Bullock- Movie - if you have not watched worth watching. This is what GR did , successfully. JVP is trying hard from 1971 to create a criciss  just to incite people . Same way their objections to MCC was baseless too. They can create an opinion among the masses (brain wash) . As a country we lost lot of opportunities due to misdeeds of political parties all JVP is no exception. During 88-89 JVP brought entire country to knees and anarchy was the order of the day with JVP and PRAA killing machines at work. Nothing different from Sialkot TeLP who also killed 7 Pak Police Men recently and virtually brought the country to standstill from 'Long March". For what - to expel French Ambassidor as a magazine in France had defamed religion!! Imran Khan came to an agreement with TLP  to end violence.
