They might have a large muslim population but let me tell you none of those countries are islamic. In fact there is not a single country that can be called islamic. These countries apply pseudo-shariah law in  bits and parts so as to portray some sort of islamic image to the masses. For a country to be Islamic it has to apply the shariah in fullness without picking and choosing. If you want to really read up on real Islamic States read up on the times where proper Shariah was implemented. From the 7th century to mid 13th century.The reason why muslims emigrate to the west is because there is proper justice there without discrimination and better economic prospects.The same reason that even most sinhalese cant wait to get out of Srilanka , even on boats ! Just because small minority of fanatics go about and shout in those countries doesn't mean it is endorsed by the muslim masses. They have been condemned . Racial hatred towards any group seems to be the only way here in lanka to vent out everyone's failures and frustrations in life. First it was the tamils and now muslims. Its funny how almost most or all of the haters here are commenting from outside of srilanka or most of them wouldnt think twice given the opportunity to go abroad !</blockquote>
