silly that is not a fish. It is an axolotl, an aquatic salamander related to frogs. a couple others are the Mudpuppy, siren and amphiuma. An interesting story about an amphiuma A non-English speaking friend of mine netted a huge one nearly a meter (3 FT) long in Lake Bistineau Louisiana. He showed it to me and asked me if I wanted it. I said I wanted it for my aquarium. He told me to come get it later that evening. I went back to his house, he was beaming with pride and had it all cooked in fried rice for me.
