The basic <a href="http://www.dvdsuperdeal.com/one-tree-hill-seasons-1-7-dvd-boxset.html" target="_blank">plot</a> is about half brothers: Nathan and Lucas, and basketball. Lucas (the main character) lives with his mom, and plays basketball outside of school. Nathan lives with his father, (also Lucas' father) who was a basketball star, and wants his son to follow in his footsteps. Nathan's father denies being Lucas' father, but everyone knows that he is. Lucas is invited to play varsity basketball with Nathan, which starts a conflict between the brothers, who had avoided one another previously.
