Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera2.The incumbent President Maithripala Sirisena3.Ranil Wickremesinghe who is elected the Prime Minister for the third time.4.Former President Chandrika Kumaranatunge who was President for 12 years.5.Anura Dissanayake , the present leader of the JVP , a leftist party for 50 long years.6.R.Sampanthan the senior leader of the TNA ,the main united party of the Tamils, or its youthful leader Sumenthiran7.Rauff Hakeem , leader of the SLMC (Sri Lanka Muslim Congress)8. Rishad Bathiudeen , leader of Samastha Lanka Muslim Congress9.General Sarath Fonseka , former army commander and leader of Democratic party10.Champika Ranawake , leader of the JHU , or Ven .
