You have to got a 7900 series if you wanna have the best experience. Anyway, if you think about SM3.0, it's old as well. New generation is SM4.0. Mine goes to 80C at full load. Remember, this card's cooler is not supposed to handle the heat dissipated by a X850XT. But this is still OK. You only need to keep it under 90-100C for a video card. 45C is the idle temperature. I have to agree, the 7600GT runs cool because it uses a newer process technology. 7600GT uses 90nm and X800GTO uses 130nm or 110nm.</blockquote>
