The site says AMD will launch two 65nm single-core Athlon 64s bearing 3800+ and 3500+ model numbers in the middle of this month. The 3800+ model will be clocked at 2.4GHz with 512KB of cache, and the 3500+ will run at 2.2GHz with 512KB of cache, just like the existing 90nm models. The new chips will have thermal dissipation ratings of just 45W, compared to 62W for the current models.HKEPC also echoes previous rumors of yet more 65nm AMD processors scheduled for the second quarter. The upcoming chips will supposedly include Athlon 64 X2 5200+ and 5400+ models, some low-power Athlon 64 X2s, and a handful of new Semprons.</blockquote>
