Message: <blockquote data-quote="donDuminda" data-source="post: 6750839" data-attributes="member: 261945">jst wanted to write this coz most da colombo ppl keep saying da same thing over n over.... all they talk is abt da business community....i mean if da UNP cum ppl wil invest n UNP has a more suitable busines plan...n bla bla...ya hav to agree..bt Sri Lanka is not all about solving the business communities problems...it's abt 10% of all problems in SL...for a eg. thr's a big fuzz going on about the price of milk powder....ya of course da gov can reduce da price by removing da 50% tax applied..bt what will happen to da poor farmer...His Life depends on it...sad dat these ppl cant realize it..they dnt think abt a Sri Lanka Out frm colombo...Unata Badu laaba Unoth e athi... only 30% of Sri Lanka lives in cities...so data basically the business community..... bt 70% of sri lanka stil lives in rural areas...agree with me o not sri lanka depends on this 70% coz SL is an agricultural county....obviously da requirements are less with da 70%....they dnt giv a damn abt da dollar rate,bla bla bla bla.....gamata paarak ,light,n pooora tika hariyata labunama athi....So Mahinda understood dat he cant fulfill da dreams of da business community with the War going on.....so mahinda gama alluwa....poora 1500 thibba eka 350 ta dunna..paarawal haduwa...bla bla bla bla.....so luking back all hav to agree mahinda won da election coz of da rural votes....Mahinda gama allala iwarai....now if he intends he can move on to solve da business community problems.....  wats lacking in da UNP is they only think abt da Business community....gamata wadak naa..so chanda naa....Sri Lanka is not al abt da business ppl...dats wat da colombo ppl fail to understandalso most of u ppl will agree with me dat ppl in villages understand politics better than the ppl who live in city limits....da only resource they get is da media(which they watch only the preferred channels,which are obviously based to one or the other) they got no interactions with normal ppl....aduma gaane Bus ekata naggama kata karala balapan..eth naa...for a ex. most predictions made where proven crap.even i saw many elakiri polls refering dat SF will win da election....honestly as a person who lives in a village we had no speculations on who the winner would be...all we cared abt is da margine...or da percentage.... SO SERIOUSLY no point talking politics with ppl who live in colombo!!! coz they dnt giv a damn abt da rest of SL....    p.n this is what i think....on my view...over to u</blockquote>
