My Dream Nokia #26 comes in two flavours from Nando Sang Putra. The Nokia X10 is a Symbian phone (either with the new Anna or possibly it’s successor, “Belle”whilst the Nokia W10 is a Windows Phone 7.5 handset. Otherwise, both handsets are exactly the same physically with some exciting features such as a 720p (16:9, WP is meant to be on 16:10), 15MP camera (though sensor size is still same size as N8 thus pixels are smaller) . The front camera is 5mp, a somewhat touch overkill with a xenon flash. What’s that doing there? Why isn’t it at the back, you ask? Well, there’s dual xenon at the back. I’d prefer a mix of Xenon and Dual LED myself. There’s a nice big 4.5″ screen. If you can handle them that big that is. Fortunately there’s not too much space wastage. e.g. the 4.3″ HTC HD7 is nigh on identical in footprint with the 4″ Samsung Omnia 7. My favourite part must be the 2000mAh battery to keep this beast going. Speaking of beast: 2 GHz Quad-Core Processor – 32 GB Storage – 2 GB ROM – 2 GB RAM – GPU (undefined). Note, this is just a “Nokia Dream” section for your ideal devices so anything goes specs and design wise as it’s the creators personal choices. It possibly isn’t too far out of reality that such a device wouldn’t appear say, in 2012 (except perhaps on the imaging front with all those Xenon flashes) otherwise, it’s a trend that today’s dream is tomorrows (or next year’s) future. Well by some manufacturer anyway. Given the choice, which would you go for? X10 or W10? Nokia X10 : * Symbian Anna or Belle * Quad-band Network * 4G-LTE Network * Quad Stereo Speakers * Super Amoled Plus – Clear Black Display – 16 M Colors * Capacitive Touchscreen * 1280×720 Screen Resolution * 4.5 inch Display – Dragontrail Glass Display * TV-out (1080p video) via HDMI with Dolby Digital Plus sound * 15 MP Primary Camera, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual Xenon flash, 1/1.83” sensor size, ND filter, geo-tagging, face detection * Video Recording Full HD 1080p@30fps * 5 MP Secondary Camera, Carl Zeiss optics, EDoF, Xenon flash, face detection * Proximity sensor * Ambient light sensor * Thermo sensor * Magnetometer sensor * 3-axis Gyro sensor * 2 GHz Quad-Core Processor – 32 GB Storage – 2 GB ROM – 2 GB RAM – GPU * MicroSD up to 64 GB * USB on the go * Battery Li-Ion 2000 mAh Nokia W10 : Search button gone on the Windows Phone, with central Windows button shifted in its place. * Windows Phone 7.5 * Quad-band Network * 4G-LTE Network * Quad Stereo Speakers * Super Amoled Plus – Clear Black Display – 16 M Colors * Capacitive Touchscreen * 1280×720 Screen Resolution * 4.5 inch Display – Dragontrail Glass Display * TV-out (1080p video) via HDMI with Dolby Digital Plus sound * 15 MP Primary Camera, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual Xenon flash, 1/1.83” sensor size, ND filter, geo-tagging, face detection * Video Recording Full HD 1080p@30fps * 5 MP Secondary Camera, Carl Zeiss optics, EDoF, Xenon flash, face detection * Proximity sensor * Ambient light sensor * Thermo sensor * Magnetometer sensor * 3-axis Gyro sensor * 2 GHz Quad-Core Processor – 32 GB Storage – 2 GB ROM – 2 GB RAM – GPU * MicroSD up to 64 GB * USB on the go * Battery Li-Ion 2000 mAh
