I had following conversation few minutes ago with a stranger :nerd:

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!
    You both like pain.

    Stranger: Hello there!
    You: finally no bot
    You: :P
You: btw it seems here there are loads of people who like pain
    You: i envy
    Stranger: Are you a sadist?
You: im more into psychological aspect of it
Stranger: Um, elaborate a little please?
You: at the moment im hurting from a heart break. just want to discuss about it little bit. not interested in BDSM at the moment
You: I mean why we feel pain
You: whats the purpose of it
Stranger: Every emotion is a human need.
You: why people who cares end up getting hurt
    You: exactly
    You: so whats the reason?
You: why do we have to feel pain
Stranger: We need pain to alert our bodies that something is dangerous and harmful. Just like we need fear.
You: that's about physical pain mostly know
You: what about the emotional pain
You: it means heart suggesting us to leave the subject?
Stranger: Saying why do we need pain is just like saying why do we need any other emotion, they'd all have the same arguments. Why do we need happiness or anger?
    You: it makes no sense
    Stranger: It does.
    Stranger: How old are you?
You: happiness is there because it gives a life a purpose
You: we will chase after it with that humans evolve
Stranger: Yes, but we cannot only feel happiness.
You: anger helps to protect us from dangers
Stranger: Without negative feelings such as pain we wouldn't be able to experience happiness.
You: yea systems take happiness from us when we almost get there
You: then we will start chasing once more
Stranger: Emotional pain is the lack of happiness. You can't be happy all of the time without being delusional.
    You: im 28
    You: hmmm
You: so it is kind trap
You: which the system we are living in set on us
You: when we feel the pain we looking for happiness
You: we try to move on
Stranger: It's just a part of the human condition, it doesn't have anything to do with our social system.
    You: not the social system
Stranger: Love and feeling understood is a basic human need in our heirarchy of needs.
Stranger: But there cannot only be love.
    You: who made those definitions
    Stranger: It's just human.
    You: if we follow those
    You: we will always suffer
Stranger: Maslow, and psychologists following up to him today.
You: it is about this entire system we live in
Stranger: It isn't a rule to follow, it's just our understanding of human psychology.
You: it needs us to evolve
    You: breed
    You: reproduce
Stranger: No, it's about the mind and unconscious desires.
You: because of it we had to suffer
You: are we really conscious in this complex and running world?
You: can you say you are living consciously?
    You: we just follow
Stranger: I believe that I have free will, so I am living consciously. Unconscious desires are always present.
You: we don't make independent decisions
Stranger: We follow our urges but they get repressed by our superegom
    Stranger: Superego*
    You: that's a delusion
    You: who makes our urges
You: isn't that the main stream media
Stranger: I don't understand what you are trying to say. Humans are animals and it is natural for us to crave things such as sex and the release of anger.
You: are we really really having the control of our own lives?
Stranger: Those are basic, innate urges. Nothing to do with society or the media.
You: or is it just mere illusion
    You: ok
    You: :)
Stranger: And just as those desires I mentioned are innate, so is the need for happiness and pain. All human emotions are present throughout all of the societies and cultures in the world.
You: common, structured, molded, formatted set of desires which we adopt after learning them by looking at the surroundings.
Stranger: No, we are born with them.
Stranger: Society doesn't tell us we need to be happy or hungry.
You: are you sure about it?
    Stranger: Yes.
You: it doesn't but it ask us to follow
    You: set of rules
    Stranger: What set of rules.
You: they says ways of happiness are fixed
You: you need to money to buy stuff then you can be happy
You: if you drive fast car you will be happy
You: if you drink alcohol you will be happy
Stranger: It's anyone's choice to be mindless.
Stranger: No one has to listen to that. I'm happy without money or a car.
You: sex is more innate as you said
You: aha that's great if you can say that
You: but for the common it is not the case
    Stranger: It's a choice.
    Stranger: Ignorance is a choice.
You: only thing they know is to follow
You: yet we endorse it for the greater good of cooperative world
You: we need a paradigm shift :)
You: other wise these poor souls will not have peace
    You: sadly :)
You: they just keep comparing themselves with others in 24/7
    Stranger: Everyone does that unconsciously.
    You: yes
    You: that's the problem
Stranger: We are constantly inspired by others whether we realize it or not.
    You: they are all unconscious
Stranger: That isn't necessarily a bad thing.
You: media and cooperate world misusing it
You: I can only wish :)
You: they don't know how to be content
You: life is just a struggle for them always
    You: pain
Stranger: Advertizing in the media uses Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, all used since the Ancient Greek.
    You: :)
    You: people suffer
You: somewhere somehow it has to be stopped
You: no idea how it is gonna happen
Stranger: I have to go, I'm sorry. It was nice talking to you.
    You: pleasure is all mine
You: nice to meet someone like you here :)
You: how old r u btw?
    Stranger: 16!
