Peiris met the British High Commissioner  on Monday to discuss the British Foreign Office travel advisory issued  for British nationals visiting Sri Lanka.    “The minister asked that the travel advisory be amended in keeping with  the developments in the North. We mentioned that there was no  justification for such a travel advisory because there is stability and  security in the country,” a source told the Daily Mirror.         The advisory said there was a heavy military presence throughout the country and a looming terrorist threat.     DM</blockquote>
