Especially becoming a commercial aviation pilot is even harder now. As they told you earlier, to become a pilot first you need to get a PPL and then CPL. Even though most of times those two licenses are not enough to be a commercial pilot because now days all those commercial airline companies are seeking for pilots with degrees such as aeronautical, aerospace etc. and unfortunately there are no institutes in SL to do those degrees. So you have to go abroad to do studies and this will cost you a fortune. I know few people from my school, all of them are studying aerospace , aeronautics , aviation management and mathematics at universities such as embry riddle in US to be pilots. Easiest way to become a pilot in SL is joining SL air force with a good GCE A.L maths stream result. good luck!</blockquote>
