Your network problems are most likely caused by the errors in the firewall. If you have a router then no need to install a 3rd party firewall. Windows firewall is enough. Those firewalls will only slow your PC down and cause this kind of unwanted problems. Next time just install a Virus guard, DON'T put a security suite. But if you only have a modem, then maybe a 3rd party firewall is better.
