The two ministers are on a tour of the country’s most notorious public housing complexes as a way to draw inspiration for ways to revitalise them. The prime minister has previously promised to present such a plan at the opening of parliament in October.? Following the tour, the ministers met behind closed doors with experts, representatives from Taastrupg?rd and the housing union, in order to take a closer look at the challenges Taastrupg?rd faces.The visit came as the National Research Centre for Welfare published a report on the need for support to socially marginalised housing areas. The report stated that to help solve problems in the areas, continued support in the form of an annual pool of funds and professional help is needed. The centre says such measures would help improve long-term planning of social work and improve cooperation between communities, housing organisations and other groups.</p></blockquote><p></p>
