When the police are yelling at her, they’re basically saying stop the vehicle, show your IDs (she says she doesn’t have it/not on her), why is he tied up, you can be fined for this, if he’s that much trouble, you need to educate him (she says: he’s fucking annoying/misbehaved, this is the only way I can bring him home or else he runs all over the place/won’t go). The police do express concern directly to her: you can’t tie him like this, you’re lucky he’s not seriously hurt. When she keeps repeating “guan bu dao,” the sentiment is like “there’s nothing I can do because he’s SO difficult” (“lost cause”). Mom says dad is at restaurant. Kid says he’s 9 and a half.At the end, she says if the kid wants to stay with the cops, fine, she’ll come back ASAP with the IDs.
