Even some hotel managements were found to have insulted the Buddha by using his image in the most inappropriate manner to attract tourists.The worst cases were in the Middle-East and Europe where "Buddha Bars' were put up to draw customers.Nearly 10 years ago, the late Sir Arthur Clarke vehemently protested to the British Airways for using the image of the reclining Buddha for a BA advertisement.  His strong protest eventually compelled the airline to withdraw the offensive ad.</blockquote>
