Fernando Minister of Labour, Mervyn Silva has complained to Narahenpita police that he was receiving death threats demanding not to criticise LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran and former Ministers Mangala Samaraweera and Sripathi Sooriyarachchi.   Following a B-report filed by the police, the court ordered to get a record of the telephone calls received by Mervyn Silva. Minister Silva has complained that over a month he was receiving threatening calls on the two telephones he was using and caller was demanding him to stop criticising Prabhakaran, Mangala Samaraweera and Sripati Sooriyarachchi. He has stated that he had no idea who the callers were.
