President leaves for Singapore for check up

Not they it is State money they misuse for Medical check-ups. Even Mr. Ravinatha approved medical expenses for a foreign service (career) person to go to another country !! (not Sri Lanka). So why cant president? Make no mistake their USDs are secure in foreign banks and will never move to SL. All rules are for stupid voters who vote them. This applies to UNP, SLFP, JVP and all others in politics.

Yes probably also part of the USD come to Sri Lanka as funds and aid may have been diverted to personal accounts of those who have power and because of that Sri Lanka now facing scarcity of forigin currency
