It conducts in a strange manner under his governmant. Despite being a poor country SL has to allocate a huge 17 billion for the on going war. Any other poor country's economy would be seriosly affected by such a huge security spenditure and compelled to immeiately cut down on. But it is exactly the opposite in sri lanaka. Money on war has become a good investmant and war has turned out to be a job creating industry. According to the defence secratary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha, his ministry has provided the highest number of job opportunities in the past few years, 70000 to be exact. As a result rural village eonomy has got a boom, millions of governmant's money flooding in to vilages as salaries of soldiers every month. <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/D.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" data-shortname=":D" />  Last week a foreign invester told me it is very interesting to see Rupee is still very strong. Despite many problems, large development projects,highways,ports,power plants,reserviors,irrigations are underway. Ask central bank governer Cabral, you will be told the truth about the economy.. Actual economic growth is above 7%, inflation is contained under 15% despite many claims that economy is crippling and inflation is exceeding 30%.<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/D.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" data-shortname=":D" />  What is this inflation? nobody knows. In simbabwe inflation is 100000%. Was Robart Mugabe compelled to commit suicide? No, He lives happily. All the simbabwians are still alive. But what;s the wrong in printing money if you have machines ,papers and ink. Thereby we can pay higher salaries to governmant servants further influencing economic growth in village level.<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/D.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" data-shortname=":D" />  So this governmant has created new norms of economics.Especially the the concept of war as a tool for economic growth, it is amazing!
