Message: <blockquote data-quote="ahamednishadh" data-source="post: 4302921" data-attributes="member: 4368">wo wo wo wo guys guys!! i went thru most of the replies given to this thread and i see that there has been a heated up argument going on around in here between damnnaken supporting UNP and sakura supporting the govt and lkdood comming in between as a nutral person and a few others pluging in here and there.well on my personal view i think the current govt shud actually thank UNP first of all. coz it was UNP who broke karuna away from da LTTE and brought him out. this was da point where the LTTE broke. it was karuna who was supplying everything from weapons to manpower for the LTTE from the east. wen he was taken away by da then UNP mp's the LTTE organisation broke and there were many fights between the leaders themselves which caused the organisation to b get more weak. so at first that shud b done.secondly i dont c hw da ceasefire actually helped da LTTE. coz if u c da actual scene in here many of the NGO's were not here in sri lanka. it was after the tsunami that many NGO's came into sri lanka. if u can get sum news items published in news papers lyk for an yr after da tsunami and u can c a whole damn lot of NGO's being set up. and i also remember there was this news item where there was a container that was seized by the ports authority which was labled tsunami aid and was supposed to b from Shane Warne's NGO called world vision. this container had parts of aviation vehicles that can be used to assemble two helicoptors. the world vision organisation rejected saying da container was not theirs. so dat means there must hav been many more containers lyk these comming in during that time marked as tsunami aid and was not chkd properly b 4 being released from the port. the planes, the war tanks may have been brought lyk that ne!! and also if u had asked ppl during the ceasefire time if it was better than da war time they would be saying yes for sure coz it was much better and also the economy was really good during those times. the reason y i think ppl nw think da ceasefire was betraying is coz da govt has done so much propaganda using the war to make ppl believe its true. u c da govt in my personal view k has created this communal problem saying da v are the best and stuff and they are using the war to fool the ppl. (pls note at this point that im not in any way downgrading the military victories obtained by the heroic armed forces of our country and im fully in support to the forces to erradicate terrorism coz im also a person who was not directly but indirectly affected by terrorism as my two relations who were in the police were killed by the bloody terrorists in the middle of the road lyk as if shooting down mad dogs!!) the govt is using the war as a marketing tool to market themselves. onething i can sense nw is mahinda can only win elections using war. he doesnt hav proper development plans and stuff. the place where he will fall one day is due to the economy. spending unneccessarily on a huge number of ministers and buying luxury hotels and starting up airline services dat run on losses amounting to billions of rupees all this will make him fall one day lyk wat happened to Bush in US. he used the war to market himself but ultimately he and his party fell b coz of a bad economic policy and stuff.next thing i wud lyk to say is that we shud always stick to the topic when discussing sum matter. i noticed at certain places dat madura had talked badly or rather in a bad manner about ranil's personal life. dude da topic is politics here not personal life. and also damnnaked when replying had pulled in madura's personal stuff into this which is also very very unacceptable. dont ever do that man. its not the quality of a gentleman to do that kind of stuff. for a person lyk mervyn silva to talk lyk dat is k. but for a person lyk a school principal or sum respected person to talk lyk dat is very bad man. common where are ur manners bung?? and wat da hell is it to do wit politics if he has a small thing or a big thing or has kids or not?? next thing is media freedom which was i think talked much by lkdood. well im not going to talk abt it here coz every person wit a brain that WORKS will understand the situation in there country thats happening to the media!!</blockquote>
