Before going with JS, I recommend learning another language first. After grabbing all the required fundamentals he should learn JavaScript and should have the ability to apply the learnings. After that he should understand the basic mobile development fundamentals, then he can go with RN. If he wants to go with Flutter best thing is to understand Dart first.</blockquote>
