Police say that she has confessed to throwing the child to the Kalu Ganga after failing to abandon him near the Kalutara Bodhiya sacred shrine.Kalutara Additional Magistrate Namal Perera remanded the woman till March 26.The suspect is a single mother lived in a village for tsunami victims in Panadura and made a living out of selling lottery tickets.
