So you lied just to get me to say no car is perfect? You could've just asked me if I think Japanese cars are perfect or not. And there will be such recalls in the future too. http://indianautosblog.com/2016/05/renault-kwid-zero-stars-global-ncap-crash-test-232064 Note this is the KWID made in 2016 April with some upgrades. "It was possible to see the structural reinforcements implemented in this version of the Kwid but when Global NCAP checked the left (passenger) side, there were no reinforcements. The structure was reinforced only on the driver side." The company promised to rectify this issue from the cars manufactured from May, 2016. So what happens to customers who bought the KWID before the May update? did they recall pre April-2016 cars? I highly doubt that. Toyota's issue was not an error that made the cars cannot be driven, it was an safety issue. They recalled all the vehicles anyway. I didn't mean to challenge your purchase or condemn the KWID. It was that hetti posting a Toyota safety recall that made me reciprocate. Seriously? When we pointed out the KWID is rated 0 for safety and the Japanese cars in the same price range are much safer he came up with a burning Camry and a Toyota safety recall. What's the logic behind that? Japanese cars may not be safer than the KWID because my requirements could be different? What logic is that? By safer I meant the Jap counterparts to the KWID scored highest marks on same crash tests that the KWID underwent and scored 0 - meaning Jap counterparts to the KWID are way safer to drive than the KWID.
