It is the other way. Many Gods came to the blessed one seeking advice. But sometimes Lord Buddha had asked questions to get them to think. But at the end Buddha used that very thinking to help them to understand. It is a technique used for certain individuals. Because some gods/people don’t like to listen. Are you telling me all the people who passed away 2000 years ago are still waiting in the graveyard? Sorry I do not like to fall asleep and wait. It’s like a coma .
