My point being your definition of adulthood/age needs to be reviewed in terms of maturity and not in years .Further more even if you take age,she was already biologically a woman !She had started her mensuration. This is a more significant coming of age !You say she was married off without her consent ! You fail to prove any discontent on her part ! She lived on many years after the Prophet (PBUH) and there has not been a single statement of the slightest discontent . On the contrary she turned out to be the 4th most informative source of Hadith (Prophetic Practice) and spoke of nothing but praise for him. She remained unmarried for the rest of her life !Lastly , who says everything is to be judged by the standards of the standards of the 21st century ? Clearly this is not the utopia it claims to be . We have been given a value system which does not change with societies perception of it !</blockquote>
