i too hear it man  check dis out Papare Editor Writes On The Story “Wesley College Rugby Player Crosses Over To St.Peters” Since publishing the above mentioned story the Papare has received an email from the Hon.Secretary of St.Peters College Rugby Foundation as to why this story was covered and when crossovers have taken place in other schools in the past it had been ignored by the Papare. The main reason the Papare felt the above story was news worthy was since the player who crossed over had done so after representing Wesley in the Western Province and All Island Sevens tournament in 2010. Most crossovers that have taken place in the past have been at the end of the season and it is very rare to find a player playing for two schools in a single calendar year. The Papare was just covering the story and had no intention of causing disrepute to any of the schools involved. In the Secretary’s email he stated that that some of the facts in the article were incorrect, and he also requested to know where we got our facts from. We sent the secretary of St.Peters College Rugby Foundation a reply stating that we stand by our story and the facts have been obtained from reliable sources and we do not divulge our sources to anyone. We however wrote to the secretary that if he felt any of the facts in the article is incorrect to send it in writing to us and we will be most happy to publish it on the site. We have not received a reply to date. It also should be noted that we made numerous attempts to contact the said player involved, but our attempts proved futile. With regard to not writing on transfers that took place in other schools, we wish to state that some of the crossovers took place much before the Papare was launched, and any crossovers that happened last year was not covered in any of the articles including players who crossed over to St.Peters for the 2009 season. We are also deeply disappointed that the Paapre received a call from the coach of the St.Peters Sanath Martis to let us know that the Papare will not be allowed any interviews with the Peters team this year as well as not be allowed to webcast any of the games this season. We regret that many past Preterits around the world would be deprived of the opportunity to view the performances of their rugby teams this year.
