The US as a result is now presenting another resolution. Also, the report and recommendations of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay are also based on the situation in the country," he has noted.  According to Herath, the government has to take full responsibility for creating the necessary environment to present another resolution.  He has added that although the JVP did not fully agree with the entire content in the resolution or the issues raised, the background to present such a resolution was created in the country.  "The government after promising and agreeing certain things to the international community failed to honor these commitments and created new problems in the country. The crisis that was created in the country's judiciary, creating a breakdown in the country's law and order, continuous attacks on the media, carrying out a semi military rule in the North and government forces personnel in civvies attacking protests organized in Jaffna have increased the issues in the country," Herath has said. CP</blockquote>
