Sane people who managed to quickly discover this plan immediately leaked it into the Social Media , giving Russia enough time to send adequate Air Defense Batteries to re-enforce Syrian Air space.Also has a reaction to this, Russia immediately deployed Nuclear capable Iskander-M hypersonic missile batteries in Kaliningrad (an enclave controlled by Russian in Eastern Europe near Baltic Sea) which NATO has no means of counter measures.
