For example,When a child asks an adult to play a game with them, that adult might go along and play with them out of sheer compassion or love. Or they might reject the request because they have something better to do like actually earning a wage and puting food on the table. Or said adult might not "feel like it" and reject the request.There could be plethora of reasons why that particular adult might or might not go along with the request.
