Message: <blockquote data-quote="dxcharith" data-source="post: 9696025" data-attributes="member: 171811">The UNP Working Committee has today (23) decided to retain Ranil Wickremesinghe as the party leader. The Working Committee has also decided to create two deputy  leadership posts and to appoint UNP Hambantota District parliamentarian  Sajith Premadasa as a deputy leader. Therefore, Premadasa and Karu Jayasuriya will serve as deputy leaders of the party. Premadasa has also been appointed as the deputy opposition leader. The remaining offcie bearers in the party were unchanged.
