Both of these methods fix the Download mode for Samsung devices since it only affects Samsung devices. Each of these methods is effective in its own way, choose the one that works for your own situation. Method 1: Without Firmware Step 1. Take the battery out of your Samsung device Step 2. Wait for about a minute after taking your battery out and then put the battery back in to your device Step 3. Turn on the device and wait for it to boot normally Step 4. Using its original USB cables, plug your device into your PC Step 5. After connecting your Device to PC if it appears a as a storage device, then you will know that the Download Mode issue has been effectively fixed. Method 2: Using Stock Firmware and Odin Flashing Tool This method is a little more involving than the first one. It is therefore a good idea to try Method 1 and only go to Method 2 when the former fails. Step 1. Download the Stock Firmware for your specific Samsung device. You can do that here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and then download the Odin Flashing tool here: http://odindownload.com/ Step 2. Extract the Odin Flashing tool and the Stock Firmware on your PC Step 3. Next, you will need to download and install the USB drivers for your specific Samsung Device Step 4. While your Device is in Download mode, connect it to your PC using USB cables Step 5. Run Odin as an administrator on your PC and click on the AP button. Go to the location of the extracted firmware file and select it. Step 6. Press on the “Start” button to begin the flashing process. This process will take some time and you should see a “Pass” on Odin once it is successfully complete. The “Pass” is an indication that you have successfully fixed the Download mode issue. We hope that one of the two methods provided above can help you fix the problem easily. Just be sure to back-up your device before attempting any kind of flashing to avoid data loss. =============================================== Altenatively try installing dr. fone toolkit for Android. There is an option to Exit from the Download Mode. I cant exactly remember the steps but its not hard to find it.(Try data recovery option) Cheers
