The report said a  then 14-year-old stabbed his friend in the back that left him  permanently paralyzed. Additionally, it said the stabbing suspect had  the chance to avoid the sentence if he was able to pay the victim  $226,000.According to Gulf News, a statement the ministry said on  Twitter read, "The ministry would like to announce that this is utterly  incorrect, and in fact the judicial ruling was contrary to that. The  judge had shied away from demanding this punishment," FoxNews.com  reports.
