Additionally, it said the stabbing suspect had the chance to avoid the sentence if he was able to pay the victim $226,000.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px">According to Gulf News, a statement the ministry said on Twitter read, "The ministry would like to announce that this is utterly incorrect, and in fact the judicial ruling was contrary to that.
