It doesn't mean your video playback will be smoother (unless you are really, really low on RAM). It doesn't mean your PC will boot faster. In games, more RAM means there are less pauses. Don't misunderstand, this is not low framerates. The games will pause for a second or two to clear the RAM and load from the hard disk when you are low on RAM.</blockquote>
