The JVP said General Fonseka was ready for the debate.   “Of course, we have no understanding about arms deals. Those who challenge us for a debate also do not know anything about them. The President is the Defence Minister. General Fonseka was the Army Commander. They know what transpired with regard to the procurement of arms. They are the best persons to have this debate. General Fonseka is ready for it with the President at this time,” Mr. Dissanayake said.Mahinda koheda prasiddha wivada karanne.
