But when I started my career in 2008, fresh salary is pretty much the same with present starting salary (at least in my place). They treated Engineering grads with more salary and the remaining IT, CS, Physical guys fell in to the same basket regardless of their origin. (even regardless of their GPA)My starting was 45K at that time, but my tech lead also had the same amount when he started 8 years ago. we both used to laugh together and that's it. No hard thoughts , it takes couple of years for you to realize that there is nothing to be worried about your first degree rather your pay EOD. All these companies will systematically suck your soul into it and don't fell in that trap lol. I request all the guys commented here to put their starting salary as per the purpose of this thread.</blockquote>
