I know that for sure!!! There are so many unsolved cases, like hell they will do it right now when death penalty is also legal. It brings too many fire on the table, and we are not ready to burn our fingers!! Beside we don't have the right to kill, let someone creep his life out, and think about his failures. Long life put in jail is for me the right answer than ending somes life!!! And there are so many mistakes maken, even in US, where in some states its legal. After someone is death by the death penalty, they investigate the case again, and the conclusion was he wasnt the right one. So they killed an innocent man!!I don't think SRi lanka is ready and that well organised to have a death penalty system! Long or short, our people is going to abuse it anyway!</blockquote>
