But there are so many countries with multi ethnic/linguistic societies. Why can’t people co-exist in Sri Lanka like they do in the rest of the world, without having an official representation/presence in every single thing?? I have nothing against adding few Tamil lines to the national anthem, but I really don’t see the point of making such a big fuss about it. There is only a symbolic value. If a Tamil person cant recite the national anthem, so be it..
