I wont make a comment on any artist...favoring or otherwise...but there's no rule that says fame has to come up with quality...

I completely agree with you. I used to download songs from here but all the new ones these days are really stupid and meaningless. Where is the music industry heading in Sri Lanka?? ...I ask that exact question. They should start to change now or we will have to face dire consequences in the future. I feel sorry for the younger generation.

I don't think there's hope for the younger generation unless something radical happens... as things stand when music in sl has become so commercialized (its almost impossible now to be out of it) the younger clan wouldn't ever have the chance to appreciate the real quality of music..

totally agree with you man... i remember someone said like if you can't sing on stage live without computers then you are not a real artist.. now think just how many of those so called new singers sing live without tech?
and their lyrics....if they can't come up with proper lyrics at least they should try to get them written by a someone with talent..
